So It’s Been A While…

As always with blogs (at least the ones I write), I’ll invariably not post for a month or two.  What usually ends up happening is that either:

a) I’m not sure what topic to discuss, which leads to procrastination, and/or

b) Things happening in my life that take up my time and I don’t get around to posting.

In either case, I’ll promise to do a better job this time.  To help in this aspect, I have a new idea.  For those who don’t know, I am a Sunday School teacher for mu church, teaching students in the 15-22 age group (or until the student feels so old he/she joins the adult class, haha).  I thought it would be good to provide a summary of what was taught, major highlights, and important conclusions.  We discussed a pretty hefty topic today; why is there so much evil and suffering in the world?  I thought it was a good discussion for 45minutes, highlighting various Biblical passages and some reasons for the state of our world.  Be on the lookout for it later this week.

For current events, I went skiing yesterday at Camelback.  I hadn’t gone in almost 7-8 years, and though it was difficult at first, by the end of the day the falls were kept to a minimum.  I really want to try next year and go a few times throughout the season, it really is a fun time.  Here is a pic of me posing prior to starting (sorry for bad quality, was taken w/ my phone and the lighting was not that good):
